Holder wants gun registration?
So says the Law Enforcement Alliance of America:
Holder wants a national, permanent gun registration system administered by law enforcement. A registration of honest citizens that have cleared the federal background check for gun purchases with those records permanently retained by and shared among law enforcement.
Holder wants new federal authority to prohibit any person on the federal watch list (reported to be 400,000 names) from buying guns and supports confiscating guns from those on the list who possess them.
So, he doesn’t want due process protections for people who want to own guns. Even though we give those protections to people who, say, fly planes into buildings.
Update: In comments, David he’s trying to corroborate the story with no luck. Could be bogus since the official transcript contains none of the quotes attributed to Holder.

Well, its worked so well in Canada /sarc
1) Economic situation gets worse.
2) Obama stops trying to hide the truth of the economy but pretends surprise and alarm and the dramatic deterioration.
3) Obama declares a State of Emergency and seizes vast economic power.
4) Simultaneously, Holder starts an effort to grab guns.
5) One or more incidents occur as gun owners resist the feds.
6) Obama issues a call for a Civilian Defense Force and declares martial law.
7) Elections are postponed until the situation stabilizes.
No.

Holder has no credibility. He is about as unamerican as anyone can get. He loathes the US Constitution.

Correction: Holder wants to repeal the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, win a Civil War against those who believe in individual rights and liberty, and then impose gun registration. The socialist and his henchmen will need a whole lot of luck to push that agenda through.
Most of us realize that at some point in time it will come to this (maybe not under the O, but someday), and the "Plan B" is too horrible to say out loud, let alone contemplate.

I own more than one gun.
There is one single 4473 that was filled out about 1983 when I purchased an M1 Carbine from a shop that had an FFL.
But ALL MY GUNS are LEGAL!!!
Someone broke in my house 3 months ago and stole all my guns and ammo...
What do we have now? A state registration? I know we have to register our guns. Who gets this information?
Being from NJ, I often wonder the same thing. I don't want a bunch of these commies from this administration knowing everything I own! just who do you think they'll be "watching"? Me or my liberal, gun hating neighbor? Communists don't care about rights, they care about power and disarming anything or anyone they deem a "threat"....hence, the hatred of conservatives
But hey.... it has been proved that primitive methods can take on well equipped armies. If our nation can't stomach a few casualty’s in Iraq and Afghanistan, how will they react to a civil war on their own soil?

LOL... I was always concerned about that as well. I really worry about that, it happens more than you know....
