Not all revolutions begin in the streets with tanks and guns. Some advance slowly, almost imperceptibly, until a nation is transformed and the public realizes too late that their freedoms are gone.
Such is the revolution now taking place in America. The '60s crowd has emerged from the ideological grave and is about to impose on this country a declaration of dependence in the form of government-run health insurance and treatment. It matters not what facts are known about this "coup," because to those from the '60s -- whether they lived in that decade or were born later and adopted its ideology -- only feelings and intentions matter, not truth and results.
Why would anyone trust government -- which has a difficult enough time winning wars -- to properly administer health care? What track record does government have in living up to its economic forecasts and competence in running anything? (snip)...
Nowhere in the debate over health care "reform" have we heard a single word from liberal Democrats about personal responsibility, self-reliance and freedom. In fact, the message has come through quite clearly that government will penalize anyone who demonstrates such beliefs, as it attempts to spread your wealth around. (snip) ...
Opinion polls show a majority of Americans reject this health care "reform" bill. They think haste may waste them in the end. It doesn't matter. Like members of a cult, whatever the leader says, goes. The facts be damned. The crowd from the '60s will "seize the time," in the words of Black Panther radical Bobby Seale, thus sealing our doom as a unique and wonderful nation.

All this does is GROW government - more forms, more law suits, more confusion, more nanny government.
Back in the '60s, a good friend who immigrated from Italy, surveyed the American scene, pointed to the growing feminist movement and made what for those times, was a startling announcement. He pointed to ancient history and demonstrated that these 'revolutions' had all happened before. "After the feminists", he said, "you will see a rise in the homosexual movement." "Each time these two movements have risen to power, they are followed by the inevitable. Expect to see the collapse of American society in your lifetime." At the time, I laughed. Not laughing any more.
With Obamacare, and that is exactly what it is and nothing else, I’m quite sure my 96 year old grandfather would not have gotten his hip replaced a couple of months ago and he’d be begging for death due to the pain of non-treatment. Gramps was a lifetime union man his whole life and he saw through obama and his “care” from the minute he was thrust upon us.
He didn't go to the Whitehouse to be popular, he went there to bring fundmental change and he has been going about it very effectively since becoming President.
He and his cohorts caused the economic mess that helped usher him into the Presidency. They hate the free market and they hate fundamental republican principle. Since being elected they have methodically and with a will attacked both of these institutions and harmed them terribly.
It is their intent to bring them down and build a marxist command economy on their ashes. Everything they are doing reflects this. From the stimulus, to the bail-outs, to the health care monstrosity, to Cap & Trade, FOCA, and on and on.
And all of what he has implemented are producing success from Obama's point of view. They are accomplishing exactly what he wants...he does not want to repair the economy, the auto industry, the banking and credit industries, energy, health care, etc., etc. as most Americans would define repairing them. He wants to fix it as in "the fix is in", as in controlling it.
And that is exactly what he is doing.
Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and their cohorts will lie, blow smoke, deceive, cajole, and give as many Presidential speeches, presentations, addresses to congress, etc. as it takes to draw this out so he can continue progressing towwards his goals. When you understand this about him and his administration and the cohorts in the House and Senate...everything comes into focus.
But Americans all over this country are waking up...and they are speaking out and demonstrating. 2010 and then 2012 cannot come soon enough. Neuter the leftists/liberal/socialists in 2012, then run them out on a rail in 2012.

When I view the actions of this administration
I can only see....a long train of abuses and usurpations..
Probably one of the best things we can do, for the time being, is to call anyone who voted yes on any stage of this healthcare scam, a marxist. Regauardless of party.
These are the same people that are promoting the global warming BS.
They are enemies of this nation. It’s just that simple.
Must we wait to be shoved into the abyss? When does the counter-revolution begin?

Alas, all too true. Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin - they’d all sneer at our current government, and rightly so.
Marx, Engels, Trotsky, Lenin, Stalin, Mao on the other hand... they’d applaud and wink at each other knowingly.
One short sentence that is so revealing. That is exactly the case and their motivation is the same.
