Fairness and civility have been hallmarks of the Conservative philosophy. For me, that's done.
From this point, I care NOTHING about the feelings of any Leftist. Anybody can call an Obama supporter any name they want, and I will not censure him. Anybody wants to discriminate against an Obama supporter, I will not object. I declare them outside my protection in all ways.

I think you might be right. According to the left, Sarah is bad because she supports the conservative platform, which includes keeping women out of positions of power. This makes no sense, and women across the board should notice. Maybe they’ll see that the powerful women are coming from the right.
Praise her for seeing the light and now spreading the word, don’t bash her for once being ignorant or naive.
Well, I'm glad that Robin has discovered the truth on this one, but, to be honest, for anyone with the eyes to see and brain to think, it about as obvious as the sun coming up every morning. I have never encountered a male supporter of "abortion rights" who, when pressed, didn't admit that the reason the supported abortion was to preserve the option of paying off a woman not to bear their child and so be relieved of any long-term financial obligation. It's about sex and money with these sleazebags, nothing more. Few things on this Earth can be more despicable scum than a man who would use a woman in this way and pay her to kill her child.

Fabulous! As a long-time conservative, I knew many of these individual facts about the left. But hearing it from someone who “came out from among them” is just amazing, because it gave me a whole new sense of connectedness between several seemingly unrelated dots. I get now the dark motivation for the method of attack on Palin, which had eluded me, operating as it did at a subliminal level. I am in debt to you, Robin of Berkeley.

It must be like coming out from being hypnotized for most of ones life ... whenever a liberal wakes up and becomes conservative.
Amazing article. We see this acted out in the news everyday. Ugly, mean, snide, demeaning, comments from lots of well known names, attacking Sarah. Maratha Stewart, David Letterman (every single show, most of their comments were laid on Bush and Reagan too, constantly. They have no grace. And can not be expected to change ever.

I believe I heard Rush say this a decade ago — or read it in one of his books. Except that now it’s not just “leftist men”; nearly all men have bought into this. When men stopped taking pride in providing for their families, the homes became weaker. IMHO...
I wonder what they would say the conservative evil is.
I have to believe people will eventually grow tired of this nonsense.
