And it cheats blaqck people/minorities in the process because it favor promotion not for merit but for color, thus those who can compete are encouraged to not compete and reach excellenece but to play games and race cards. And that really serves the good for the race, right? (/s) Disgusting really ...
And my white son, who married a disabled, bi-polar white girl, now mother, is punished regularly by black social workers and a black judge in a fight to keep his kids from permanent state custody transfer away from biological family.
Don’t tell me reverse racism isn’t present here.
...and will continue for many more. For example, every University and large employer in the US, including mine, has what they call “diversity initiatives”, which means they want everyone to think and act alike as long as they have the superficial diverse appearance of multiple skin colors in the building.
Only the smallest businesses run independent of the aforementioned facade. The obvious fallacy is not so much that it treats white males unfairly, but rather that true diversity is not even part of the inquiry. Divergent opinion, economically, culturally, politically are discouraged.
It’s all much like judging a collection of books by the colors of its covers and insisting that the contents of each book be identical.
We are now, in effect, a nation of pre-schoolers, because by kindergarten, the notion of not judging books by their covers and that we are to let “freedom ring” are part of every kid’s healthy initial lesson plan. Maybe that’s where public education should end!
It’s been the slow, drip .... drip ..... drip ..... and mainly through the use of “comedy” skits on TV - they always show the white guy as a dumb dufus. On the other side, they always show the minorities as smarter, especially the women .. which is just untrue.
I can’t stand watching that stuff. I was watching a new series the other night .. and it was still the same. The female was the smart one, and the white male was the dufus. I won’t waste my time watching that.
Race or gender has nothing whatsoever to do with smarts; or just plain old common sense.
Actually, the only series I’ve seen which shows both strong white males and strong females is NCIS. I haven’t decided on NCIS-LA yet .. but the two guys who take all the heat (one white and one black) seem to always be upstaged by the one female on the team. I’ll give them a couple more chances to get it right, or then I’ll have to dump them too.
