KHAAAAaaaaaannnn!!!

She actually looks nice. I worry more about the destruction that she and her husband have inflicted on the USA.
That isn’t nice.

It’s very unlikely she or the taxpayers paid a dime for it. For this sort of thing, that brings a designer fame, they tend to donate their time and labor. The dress is not considered the property of Michelle or the US. In some cases it’s donated to the Smithsonian to join their collection of “historic” First Ladies’ gowns.

Khan is usually a muslim name.

Something more modest up top and in price would have been appropriate. Dress is nice but not for Govt function.
Indian woman looks so modest and proper.

I agree, the dress is spectacular and in wonderful taste (for a change). She looks very nice indeed. Could have done a better job on her hair, but whatever. She looks like a lady and for once we can be proud of the appearance of our First Lady instead of feeling embarrassment. I’m glad to have these pictures of her in the international press instead of the sort of thing she usually wears.
We have got to get her to wear lipstick, though.

Dang ... Shelley's looking pretty good, there. Barry still looks like King Dork.
Probably because he is King Dork.

I distincly remember the left making comments about Laura Bush which were just awful.
I would hope that we have more tact and class than the feckless ninnies on the left.

Yeah but that dress created more jobs than the entire stimulus package did in all 57 states.

Concur ... if we're going to verbally beat up on her when she looks ridiculous, intellectual honesty demands that we also recongise those occasions when she looks decent.
IMO.

Looks very nice.
Now, how much did it cost MY FAMILY in order for her to wear it?

FWIW, I don't care how she looks.
I care that the flaming socialist is parading around in designer gear while lording it over the proles. Again.

She has the ability to look either surprisingly good or absolutely atrocious - depending on hair, clothes an makeup.
At least now we know she doesn’t really need that boob belt.

Ya know? I am so glad to be seeing MO ‘not’ looking like a clown or a mentally disabled woman on the world stage, that I won’t complain about paying for this one.
