Kwanza, like Chanukah, sets aside one day in a week to commorate the strong traditions of the African-American spiritual foundtion, as each day of Chanukah celebrates a tenent of the Jewish faith.

For example, the 4th day of Kwanza celebrates the timely delivery of welfare checks.
