Actually, I agree that the Fort Hood shootings were not an act of terrorism.
Terroristic acts are when acts of violence are directed against civilians for the purpose of spreading terror among the population. This was an act of violence directed against active duty military personnel. It was not terrorism.
Specifically, it was an act of violence directed against a group of active duty military personnel who were preparing to deploy against our foes. It was conducted by an expert in psychiatry who knew what effect this would have on unit cohesion and morale and how it would affect their fighting ability. It was conducted by a member of the military who had taken an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
This absolutely was not an act of terrorism.
It was treason.
Gotcha. . .and all those civilians shot dead or wounded, didn’t count?
Fact is, he chose the one place where there would be soldiers AND civilians present.
Terrorism. . .and terrorism can also count as treason.
It was an act of terrorism and an act of war.
Preformed by an Islamic terrorist, in our military protected by the dangerous leftist practice of political correctness
I see. Not an act of terrorism. The shouts of Allah Akbar, the lectures of how infidels deserve hell, passing out Qurans in full Muslim garb the day of the massacre, not an act of terrorism. Got it.
Let’s not get hung up on semantics. Let’s agree it was jihad carried out by a radical Islamist by a Soldier of Allah.
