Debate on church doctrine and or threads on specific religious matters may be best posted in the religion forum, but the defense of religious freedom, especially against those who wish to deprive us of same belongs front and center on FR.
They banned God and prayer and creationism from public schools and public places, but Ill be damned if theyre gonna ban Him or it from FR!

Interesting.
I was not aware that the First Amendment guaranteed the right of All films to be shown at government facilities and I thought that the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL was a government facility.
Nor was I aware that in order to show a film in the State of California, that one had attain permission from the government.

"Inappropriate"?
Inappropriate for whom?
What's wrong? Nudity? Foul language? Violence?
Seems like a pretty vague excuse reason they gave.
Or are they now going to try to define *inappropriate*, just like they define *species*, *evolution*, *science*, and *religion*?
This could take years......
It strikes me that it is impossible to prove that God created the heavens and the earth and all that is therein. Proving a thing is to remove all doubt.
I can prove that a loaded gun can kill an animal by actually using it to kill any animal. The claim can be tested.
I cannot call God to a particular place & time and have Him demonstrate another creation.
Therefore, the best I can accomplish is to compile the available secondary/tertiary evidence that speaks logically to the claim that God created. That is not to say that such evidence is not very strong.
That is true, also, about any other claim to explain origins.
Whichever way one turns, one is left with compiling evidence that speaks to one’s claim.
And at some level, that involves the faith to continue searching. It is, therefore, a belief system.
When I see complaints about films, etc., being rejected, I always ask, do they have the right to reject a proposal by scientologists? If so, then it’s ok. If you’re arguing that creationism should be shown, but would object to Buddhism or scientology being shown, then one’s argument falls flat. Where do you stand on Scientology/Buddhism/Native American positions also having eqaul access to the facilities in question?
I must’ve missed the 1st Amendment right to have a movie shown in a governmental facility.....must be tucked in there with ACORN’s right to my money.
