That's certainly possible. Given the context of his complaint (a murderer who defiled the corpses of the dead is complaining about being punched,) he's probably a guy who likes to bait people. The seals were undoubtedly quite familiar with the atrocities he committed. He had a lot of ammo to work with if he was trying to get under someone’s skin.
