This week, two points in an emerging pointillist picture of a White House leaking supportnot the support of voters, though polls there show steady decline, but in two core constituencies, Washington's Democratic-journalistic establishment, and what might still be called the foreign-policy establishment.
From journalist Elizabeth Drew, a veteran and often sympathetic chronicler of Democratic figures, a fiery denunciation ofand warning forthe White House. In a piece in Politico on the firing of White House counsel Greg Craig, Ms. Drew reports that while the president was in Asia last week, "a critical mass of influential people who once held big hopes for his presidency began to wonder whether they had misjudged the man." They once held "an unromantically high opinion of Obama," and were key to his rise, but now they are concluding that the president isn't "the person of integrity and even classiness they had thought."

The primary reason that the elites despise Rush is that he is right 99.5% of the time.
How he does it I don’t know. But I do know he is not just ahead of the curve but 10 steps ahead of the curve.
I’m glad he is on our side.
The only thing I want to hear from Peggy is, “I was wrong. I was naive, stupid, and wrong. I supported Obama, and I was dead wrong. I had no right to criticize George W. Bush for his decisions, because it is now apparent that my judgment is not sound.”
But instead, she refers to a nameless bunch of liberals who have lost faith. And she takes the opportunity to make another dig at George W Bush, as though she is in some superior vantage point and therefore has the right to critique him.
You know what I like best about Rush? He’s damn funny, I LMAO at times listening to him. I love it when he goes into his mocking voice “But Mr. Limbaugh, Mr. Limbaugh...”
I actually have similar instincts, and can predict pretty well what they're going to do, but for me it's from being surrounded by them all my life.
Not the case with Rush, though.
That’s striking isn’t it? How do clueless people get to be ‘influential?’ Everything about this Obama situation has been blue smoke and mirrors.
You rim fired on Obama, Peggy. You have no credibility with me either..
The infamous “wow bow” to the emperor of Japan was a calculated tribute meant as a recognition that the US use of the atomic bombs to end the war with Japan, was a crime in Obama’s view, and was unnecessary. Obama like most far lefties of his ilk considers this a “war crime” committed by US.
There are those who are eager to dismiss this as an act of of “ a political novice”. It wasn’t. Its time to recognize every action (not his populist statements) this guy takes is a cold calculation.

Like out of a scene from the TV series “V” Obama botches his version of the “bliss” when the teleprompter died, and now instead of his followers living in his state of bliss they are instead being woke up with a slap and a cold towel.
>>>>> but now they are concluding that the president isn’t “the person of integrity and even classiness they had thought.”
Now there’s a surprise for you.
i’m glad we’re on< b>his</b> side!
oooooooooooooops
The most important thing is to keep on getting invited to those fashionable Upper East Side parties put on by liberal trash. If challenged, she can always respond by naming the "nameless bunch of liberals", and she won't name anyone present---"You know how he is?"
I actually know one liberal who is "honest". She hates the country and makes no bones about it. She isn't ever invited to any of those parties.
You mean platitudes and appearances fooled liberals again?
Or it could be a prelude to their re-election effort to pre-rehabilitate the Obama blackhouse image.
