We'll see. I'd like to see these guys fired, but I have my doubts.
I do know. If the university wants you gone, you are gone, irrespective of tenure. All university by-laws have a section that says tenure is no longer in effect when the board of trustees, the president of the university, the chancellor, the dean of the school, or the faculty council makes such a decision. They have to do this for situations where a tenured professor commits a crime or violates the ethical code of conduct which is established within his or her contract. Such code violations include sexual harassment, grades for cash, running a business on university time or property, willfully publishing false information, refusal to maintain academic standards, etc.
It shows 277,882 as of 14:20ET; with 10 Video Responses and 1133 Text Comments. Seems the count is advancing - maybe it hits a 'divide-by-ten' counter on the way in? </sarc>

The State Pen and Penn State are just down the road from each other.
If tenure presents a barrier to terminating junk scientists, perhaps the place to begin is with criminal indictments for fraud. Prisoners in the State Penitentiary will still be nearby the scene of their fraud and available for depositions, etc.
Meanwhile, parents and students might consider demanding full refunds for tuition, lab fees, textbooks, etc. related to junk science/global warming studies. They should file early as the damage done by this hoax is enormous.
Nobel’s record is getting worser and worser. Gore, the AGW team, Carter and Obama. Maybe the award should be retired (following a thorough investigation).
