Mitt Romney's 180-degree turn on abortion came when theory turned to reality -- when Romney realized that his signature as governor would mean real life or death for real people. When it came his time to choose with lives on the line, Romney chose life. The ranks of pro-lifers is filled with many former pro-choicers who recognized and chose the truth when it stared them in the face. Regardless of whatever else anyone might like or not like about Mitt Romney, he made the right choice about abortion when it mattered.
