Transsexual sportswriter Mike Penner, a.k.a., Christine Daniels, commits suicide

A Los Angeles sportswriter who stunned readers with the announcement that he was a transsexual - and then later abandoned his sex change plans - has committed suicide.

Los Angeles Times veteran Mike Penner, 52, was found dead at his home, the paper reported Saturday.

In 2007, Penner made headlines around the world by announcing in a column for the paper that he planned to live life as a woman named Christine Daniels.

"Today I leave for a few weeks' vacation, and when I return, I will come back in yet another incarnation. As Christine," he wrote.

Penner, who was taking female hormones but never had sex change surgery, didn't publicly explain his decision.

For those who make all these changes to their identity.......be it with dozens of plastic surgeries (a la Michael Jackson) or this sports writer with a sex change operation......their “freedom” to try to be what they are not only brings dispair, not fulfillment.

The liberals will be claiming the he/she committed suicide because conservatives didn't accept him/her, and caused him/her to be depressed. Frankly, I believe it was the very perversions that he/she practiced that drove him/her over the edge. Nobody can really live happily as a sexual deviate, in fact homos and other sexual deviates have the highest rate of suicide of any other group. There is a price to pay for playing with the nature God gave to us.

Whatever was bothering him about himself before the shots was bothering him afterwards. All that damage to his body, for nothing.
