I vaguely remember hearing about it, but no I haven’t read it.

I was astounded to see how many clemencies he had granted compared to other states in the region. His state is small compared to some of the others too. Their prison populations should be larger than his.
Are we absolutely sure he commuted this guy’s sentence? Was it actually the parole board that paroled him?
If Huckabee did it, and he has tried to shift the blame, that’s really bad.
Thanks for the mention of his comments. They sure looked like ‘ass-covering’ basket weaving to me.
I do want to be fair to the guy though, since his responsibility here will carry so much weight with me.
