On the banks of the Hudson River at West Point, Obama will give his military strategy for Afghanistan, based on the tactical genius of Capt. Spaulding, aka Groucho Marx:

Odd, isn’t it, that the only Democratic President Obama NEVER compares himself to is Lyndon Johnson?
This shouldn't be about him, but he's making it about him. I am worried sick about our brave troops and will pray my heart out for them.

So while he laments the financial costs of the war, everyone had to be loaded up and flown to New York, instead of being appropriate for the occasion and speaking .. frugally as well .. from the White House.

Unlike Obama, you don’t have a US Treasury to write you more dollars up. Like me, you would have to make room in a finite budget to buy a new TV. Congress just decides they need one. Itis there. Is there any wonder that given equal ground, private industry beats beaurocracy-induced production? Thats why Socialists are just Communists that realize they can’t exist without the private sector to leach off.

He uses the troops as a political backdrop knowing that his policy will endanger many of them.
Too few troops means more in danger, date set certain means that the last guys out will suffer big time as the enemy ramps up to take over when we leave.
A Date set certain means all we have done for over a decade will go to waste so barky can have his political gamesmanship.
The troops bear the burden of this political animal and his lust for socialism.
Sadly ... it is. And this is HIS war, now.

Obama is the best thing to happen to the conservative movement. Like dad making you smoke a carton of cigarettes when he caught you with a pack. McCain would be a pack of Virginia Slims Socialist Lights. Obama is the whole Socialist carton of reds.

As for the Red Chinese, they won't be dragging anybody anywhere. But I'm sure there will be a pile of dead ones lining the hill to my home. My wife and grandkids are excellent shots.
