That's very true. In my area, there are very few children (tens, maybe), yet the local public school received quite a few million dollars to be matched with planned property tax hikes. Local regulatory offices are also rather affluent despite having nothing to do (extinction of construction and manufacturing). They won't reduce paychecks or numbers of employees, until the revenues stop.

The "shovel ready" projects touted with highway signs were brief and for foreign nationals only. The "liberals" are bipartisan and in control even in majority Republican counties. ...all in all, nothing for American men.
