Remember Newt’s silly ad, a year ago, with Pelosi on “coming together against climate change”? What the hell was he thinking? I still can’t bring myself to forgive him that insanity. Newt could be the dictionary definition of a “loose cannon”.

I have to agree with you. OTOH, better late than never for Newt to wake up and smell the coffee.

What I'm hoping for is a similar statement out of our gal Sarah. She has been out front on this issue but not to same degree as Inhofe and and now Newt. Time to get on board Sarah.

I would say she is already on board. There is nothing wrong with being cautious in exploiting our resurces but the bottom line is we don’t let Mann-made hysteria to put the brakes on full pressure. She has been there. You may be referring to her comments while towing the campaign line but she let that go some time ago.

Newterd didn’t wake up and smell the coffee. He’s trying to have it both ways, just like most politicians.Must be thinking about making another run at some office.

Senator Inhofe has been fighting this for years and he has made tons of statements. Anyone else getting on board is way late compared to Jim Inhofe.

In fact there is no comparison to the Senator and his continued stance against manmade global warming which he has been calling ‘junk science’ for years.

Glad political people are waking up but they are way late on this one.
