the average disconnected American doesn't realize the implications of "seriously limiting carbon emissions"Yep, it's a great idea until they find out that they can't afford to heat their house.
Or more likely, that they *can't* heat their house because the "gas quotas" or "heating oil quotas" or whatever bureaucratic nonsense gets shoved at us... got used up in January, and winter *really* goes until March. Or May, if you're from the North.....

Personally, I'm trying to decide if AlGore is a bumbling idiot that failed out of the seminary and lost a presidental election that very likely could have been won by a Wooden Indian...
OR, he's a very, very shrewd conman who, through his failed Presidential run, identified a class of gullible constituents that he could bilk for tens of millions.
I suppose that he could be both, but I doubt it.
