and then proceeded to summarize that climategate is bad, but global warming is real.
Exactly, If we throw out this research, it's all they have. Occam's razor would dictate the most likely conclusion is the correct one and the likeliest conclusion we can draw from this is that this fraud was committed because the truth is that there is no global warming.
Jon Stewart gets it only about 60-70 percent right.

I doubt it.
CLIMATEGATE is general knowledge now:
Everyone who listens to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Heck knows and that’s 25 to 50 million.
Fox News has run story after story on CLIMATEGATE: Add another 25 or 30 million.
The Internet - Who doesn’t have an Internet connection? Even the homeless get two hours a day at any public library.
Add another 50-60 million.
When you could together the totals from these news outlets the reality is that a majority of Americans are aware of CLIMATEGATE.
The Genie of CLIMATEGATE is out of the bottle. The only thing gained by the Lamestream Media is the loss of yet more audience share.

Every once in a while Stewart hits one out of the park. His first ACORN piece was a grand slam.
I also found this interview with an Iranian journalist who was charged with espionage, imprisoned and tortured for playing along with a fake interview for the Daily Show quite impressive as it exposes the stupidity of evil:

Unless you’re being satirical, your numbers are a little off. Remember the same millions listen to a variety of conservative talking heads. Hannity is getting most of the Limbaugh listeners. Ditto for Beck. It’s not like a separate number of millions listen to Rush but don’t listen to Sean who gets his own separate audience. FOX doesn’t have a twentyfive to thirty million audience. More like ten million.

>> STEWART: Value added data? What is that, numbers fortified with art? They're numbers fortified by computer programs, specified by guys who (think they) know what's good for us. Hey, you liked the Hubble Telescope fix designed by clever scientists with computers, didn't you!?

Writing code is my principle “visible means of support”.
And, therefore, things with code in them that might either a) hurt me physically, or b) cost me lots of $$$, scare the crap out of me!
Because I KNOW how the sausage is made.

That is one superb chart. Please continue posting it.

Good post devolve. Gore is canceling things, he doesn't want to be confronted. I watched his face when he was confronted by the Irishman about the Polar Bears and you could see Gore doesn't handle that well. Just ‘cut the mike’ will no longer work, lol.

I have seen that even relatively simple computer models (a thousand line one in basic, when I was a grad student) can easily be made to get the desired result. That helped a socialist minded professor get a severance tax passed that stopped a mining project dead cold. It has not been able to get started now for 25 years. The people in the area are still lacking jobs, but I think the professor, if he is still alive, is smiling. He prevented a capitalist enterprise.
