I did a thorough investigation of Huckabee’s pardon of the infamous Wayne Dumond. Link below

http://fishtruecrime.blogspot.com/2009/10/11109.html

Scroll down a bit to read the story as yes, it is MY True Crime Blog but I’ll bet dollar to donut that I investigated and documented more on this horrible pardon than any of the Old Media.

I’ll give a synopsis....Dumond was beloved by a chuch lady member of a large evangelical church Arkansas is famous for. Huckabee is a religious fellow, practically elected and owned by just such large congregations. The pastor of the church of the lady who so loved murdering rapist Dumond went to Huck and asked for a pardon for Dumond as, well the reason offered was that they felt Dumond was innocent.

Dumond’s victim was interviewed by Huckabee and while she begged Huck not to release Dumond, Huck paid silly her no mind as it was the big evangelical church that gave more political contributions, come on, get a clue.

There’s way more to this story, like how huck manipulated the pardon board to a special session and other maneuverings as Huck pushed through his pardon. Finally Dumond got set free, married his church lady beloved, and a few months later raped and murdered the mother of six children. Dumond is also strongly suspected of another murder/rape but it was not proved. I’d like to find that fine, fine church lady who married this very nice fellow and ask her how much she loves that fine husband of hers.

Anyway, Clemmons was a jailhouse convert. This is another church thing. Somehow the church people “converted” him and he became a bible thumper, declaring his love of Jesus and again, beloved by the jailhouse church crowd. Now I don’t know as much about Clemmons as I do Dumond but there IS a pattern here.

Huck ran with the Arkansas church crowd and consider that selling pardons has always been a fine Arkansas tradition also well used by one Bill Clinton before Huck.

Huckabee granted over 700 pardons in the eight years he was Governor while in toto the six states surround Arkansas, including mighty Texas, granted less than that.

I am sick of Huckabee and I despised him when he thought he should be president in 2008.

I mean come on, there’s got to be SOME penalty for granting so many questionable pardons.

Yes. There was a post here within the last couple of days about a convict under a death sentence, who had converted and was strongly recommended to Huck as someone who shouldn’t be executed.

But apparently this fellow was converted into being a very sincere Buddhist.

Huck refused to have anything to do with him. I believe he was executed.
