They think targetting and fatally harming a baby before birth is a public service. And they think absorbing all private, institutional, charitable and corpororate health care enterprises into the impersonal, number-crunching, all-consuming federal-bureaucratic Borg is the common good.
Doesn’t that require redefining pregnancy and/or motherhood as a disease? To the best of my knowledge, abortion doesn’t “prevent” anything except the continued life of a child.
