You are sorely mistaken. I have stated many times that Palin in among the candidates I will support. Not Huck, not Rudy, not Mitt, not Pawlenty, not Newt, not Perry, not Dobbs, not Jindal, etc.

I include Palin on the list of conservatives that I will support that includes Hunter, Pence, King, and Demint. So obviously, she’s in some damn good company in my book.

Actually, I thought she made her view on the subject very clear on Humphries’ show.

Any sort of elaboration or clarification will be mis-interpreted as a flip-flop by the MSM because they live for stuff like that.

Because they realize that it's counterproductive to associate themselves, and conservatives generally, with that sort of crackpottery.

What do you mean by "crackpottery?"

The public knows practically nothing about Obama. That is the issue!

The real story is the unprecedented lack of openness by our President in connection with his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption records.

If President Obama grew up poor what were his sources of funding? Who sponsored his community organizer job? What about his draft registration? Is there no controversy in that matter?

And there are many legitimate, unanswered questions in connection with his birth certificate. Why were there no hearings in connection with his satisfying the requirement to be a natural born citizen? We sure had hearings for McCain, who is clearly a natural born citizen. But we just had to have hearings on that matter for John McCain. Why not for Obama? There are questions of substance in connection with his satisfying that requirement IMO and in the opinion of many other voters in this country!

"I’m not a birther, but I have followed this thing and one thing is clear, the actions of Obama are suspicious as he##. It was when that became clear to me that I was interested in where this went and started asking questions, and rightfully so."

Silly you.

Raila Odinga's favorite cousin has dumped nearly 2 million dollars into a legal defense fund to stop any and all attempts to review his Constitutional validity.

You should know by now that you are a "crackpot" for asking why anyone would spend 2 million dollars to prevent some simple documents from seeing the light of day.

Silly, silly you for thinking that he has something to hide.

Asking rational, justifiable questions is the stuff of "crackpottery."

“It is not appropriate to accuse pissant of being a troll.”

Typical talentless liberal.

Master of mis-direction and obfuscation.

I know your kind does not like blunt, plain talk, but my target was YOU.

“News” from these people would be that Sarah Palin did something “right”.

Steve-B is something of a hybrid.

Part 0bamanista, part troll.

Regardless, his name-calling certainly will never counter any of the simple and fair questions that millions of Americans are asking right now.

If Obama is Constitutionally legitimate as President, then why hide, obfuscate and lie so much about who he is and where he comes from?

If any question needs to be asked, it is why he has spent nearly 2 million dollars defending himself in court when he could easily produce some simple state documents for less than 100 dollars.

It’s fine. I don’t expect the candidates to really run with this. But I was cheering her on last night, only to see her kind of disown it today. They were going to hammer her anyway, so she might as well have stuck with her original statement.

Your posts are “unserious” to me... have been for a long time... entertaining... but worthless.

Very weak. It makes her look like a career politician instead of a stateswoman.

Or maybe Conservatives should not be so quick to fall for what ever spin the junk media spews out about her.

This article is total BS.

As usual, the Junk Media attacked her, she corrected their misstatements about her position and they attack her for "Flip flopping" when she did no such thing. She merely corrected THEIR misstatements about what she said.

She merely pointed out that if it is ok for the Left to question her on Trig's birth certificate, it is ok for others to question Obama on his. She did not demand anything of Obama or "join the birther movement as this fraud of a "journalist" try to claim.

Her statements on this issue are completely consistent, this Democrat party hack pretending to be a "journalist" should be fired for journalistic fraud.

He is deliberately lying about what she said by placing his own interpenetration on her words rather then factually reporting them, he then misrepresenting her response as being something completely different from what she actually said.

At least Palin isn’t slamming the so called “birthers”, and for that, she deserves kudos. I’m sure the media will be hounding her on this, so we’ll get to see that spectacle. Buckle up Sarah, and get ready to punch back.

It is not appropriate to accuse pissant of being a troll.

Especially, when you're the real troll, Steve.

Governor Palin is a very intelligent, capable leader.

The thing that I remember is that no matter what she says or does, she will always be attacked by the rabid left.

I do pray for her safety often, as the democrat party is the political affiliation of choice for terrorists, criminals, anarchists, communists and other extremely dangerous people.

I agree with you that these are reasonable questions to ask.

I totally disagree that "millions of Americans" are asking them.

Freepers whose total exposure to political discourse is what they read on conservative websites and hear on conservative talk shows probably overestimate the concern about zero's birth certificate by an order of magnitude. Or two.

Well-stated.

The facts laid out in “Going Rogue” indicate that this is indeed the recurring pattern with, and modus operandi of the Democrat party operatives known to the ignorant as “The Media”.
