Political correctness rearing its ugly head AGAIN?
Our good friend Andy McCarthy reveals the shenanigans at Fort Hood continue in the name of what, political correctness, sensitivity? Just weeks after an Islamic terrorist guns down 13 people, 12 soldiers, it’s the US Army that’s getting the lecture on political correctness?
It’s been brought to my attention by several reliable sources that the Defense Department has brought Louay Safi to Fort Hood as an instructor, and that he has been lecturing on Islam to our troops in Fort Hood who are about to deploy to Afghanistan. Safi is a top official of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), and served as research director at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT).
Worse, last evening, Safi was apparently permitted to present a check (evidently on behalf of ISNA) to the families of the victims of last month’s Fort Hood massacre. A military source told the blogger Barbarossa at the Jawa Report: “This is nothing short of blood money. This is criminal and the Ft. Hood base commander should be fired right now.”

Speak for yourself but those new widows with children will need all the help they can get. You surely don’t think Obama or the US government will compensate the families properly.
The way Obama is handing money out perhaps these families could be annexed into the 9/11 fund & they would not need money from the Islamist.

I’m sorry but if Safi thinks he can go in now saying Islam is the religion of peace, he’ll be laughed or flogged out of Texas.
Giving troops who are about to be deployed to Afghanistan a lecture on Islam from an Islamic perspective is appropriate. It is to their advantage.

The entire Fort Hood incident and what has been discovered since this brutal massacre, is one of the most embarrassing, disturbing events America has ever been subjected to.

I hope this is sarcasm.
When you’re going to a foreign country to fight “insurgents” you need to learn how to get along with the locals. That includes Islam. You don’t have to like it; you don’t have to respect their beliefs, but you do need to know what they are and how to deal with them.
Besides, the more most people know about Islam, the more they’ll loathe it.
I’m afraid some people, who are urging others to become “educated” re islam, didn’t read the link within the link above to learn who Louay Safi is....
I think it is so weird how little we hear about the murder of 14 people and the injury of many more.
This story should still be up there in importance in the news.
Instead it is all about Tiger Woods and those two buffoons crashing the WH silly dinner.

As a footnote for edification: The *ISNA* was one of the unindicted co-conspirators in the federal Dallas Holy Land Foundation trial that resulted in convictions of the Muslim charity’s leaders who had funneled millions to Palestinian terror group Hamas.
The key word here is “from a Muslim perspective.”
ISNA has been tied to terrorism. It has been stipulated to in federal court that ISNA is a Muslim Brotherhood front.
This isn’t simply the “Muslim” perspective. That is incredibly naive.
This is the Jihadist perspective. I urge you to research the term “taqiyya” before believing anything that the Saudi government or ISNA says:

Did the book on “Islamic culture” from Saudi Arabia tell you how many members of their royal family ended up donating large sums of money to charities that then turned around and gave them to Al Qaeda, Abu Sayyef and Lashkar-e-Tayiba?
