Same here. The NY City area sucked. We opened the pool and weren’t in it 6 times all summer. Freezing and nasty all of July.

I’m a global warming (AGW) skeptic, but you can’t make too much of short-term local conditions. In Seattle, we had an unusually hot and dry summer, but we’ve had a very wet autumn. We also had an unusually cool winter last year. What matters are the global stats and the polar stats.
