Agreed. This just puts my skin in the game. We will see if this is a blip or a glimpse of the future to come.
The boy-king just asked for a two percent federal civilian pay raise a couple of days ago.
My 79 year old, retired Army Lt. Col dad is just gonna love this. He voted for The One, and thinks we need “more government”.
Well Dad, you got what you asked for, and now you’re gonna pay for it. We all are.
No raise in our retirement pay, but the taxes on it are sure to go up.
Actually earlier in the year, the CG Pay and Personnel Center cut my taxes to only $25 a month. When I called and asked for the reason why, it was to put more $ in our hands to spend. When I asked if they were going to reduce our income taxes, the retired pay technician just laughed and said you, you’re going to have to “repay” the government back.
I wonder when the country is going to wise up and rebel against this government. I’m ready to lock and load right now.
It was never a sure thing when my husband earned his.
I remain locked and loaded at all times. The government cannot be trusted.
What big brother through the largesse of his serfs gives - big brother takes away.
