Once we got a high-speed internet connection and brushed up on some basic meteorology, we stopped watching the Weather Channel altogether.

The weather channel has swung hard left. I even saw a puff piece about “environmental activist” Van Jones on the WC with no mention of his radical, truther, communist, links that forced him to resign from the Obama administration.
I will watch it for their saturation coverage if severe weather threatens, but that is it. With high speed internet, I can get more timely data off my computer without wading through all their blather and commercials to get it.

I’m a pilot and so weather is just a bit important to me, so I’d routinely leave weather channel on. No more, not since that hag “Dr.” Heidi Cullen blew a gasket. I don’t think I’ve watched Weather Channel since.
IIRC in the late 90’s they used to play music from “Weather Underground” alot of the time.
