Tell you what, you claim to be a former TV reporter. Use those skills rather than rely on what you are hearing from "interested" parties online. Use your resources, to locate and talk to several Flight Personnel who work for AirTran. Ask several, because most will be suspicious of a stranger asking them about it. Do not record them, do not tell them you will disseminate the info. Find out first hand what the story is. Do not tell us the details as that would be a personal violation of their privacy. But, if/when you find out what really happened... you can drop your crusade and you can be satisfied in knowing something that most don't.
