Tenure is going to make it hard for him to be fired.

Tenure has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not he lied. A non-tenured professor could lie just as easily as a tenured professor would be telling the truth. Second, tenure is not in effect when a professor is found guilty of violating the code of ethics of his university, and all universities have such codes. Universities have no interest in keeping someone who denigrates their name. I know of a number of tenured professors who were booted out of universities, some for no particular reason other than they were no longer wanted. The idea that tenure is some kind of free pass for anything a professor wishes to do with his time is simply not true and never was true.

“inevitably only leftist scientists will succeed.”

I’m sure you think that is brilliant, but it simply isn’t true.

That's what it's all about for these frauds. The money.
It's always about the money.
Try getting a grant if you are NOT a supporter of the "global warming" fraud...

Tenure has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not he lied.

That's like saying taxes don't affect how people live and conduct their lives. Taxes do, and so does protection from the consequences of lying.

Tenure gives a free pass to those who lie, and I will be so bold as to say that a free pass for lying does nothing to promote the truth, and in fact promotes lying for the sake of self interest..
