“Governor Palin will demonstrate how to best field dress a bull moose, while Representative Frank will dispense invaluable tips on the art of accessorizing.” ;)

Sarah Palin: More man than Barney Frank will ever have, and more woman than he’ll ever be.

“A Gridiron representative tells FBDC the President doesn’t traditionally attend this smaller dinner. Though you’d remember President Obama didn’t attend the Gridiron dinner in March, he was the Democratic speaker at the 2004 winter dinner after his election to the Senate.”

Hmm. Do we get the feeling that Obama would rather not butt heads with Sarah the Barracuda, even in the midst of his most tingling supporters?

Considering that it’s a journalist group I’d guess they are hoping for a mis-step from Sarah..... failing that they will make some up anyway...... If there’s Q&A expect some questions on topics of profound national and international importance..... such as what to say about Levi becoming a tool of the left, why Tina Fey is so important to the future of the Republic, and what might be the latest on wardobe issues during the campaign!

Really? They must be polite to invited guests, but truthfully the only turnout Frank would inspire would be among the local rent boys.

“This will also be the Gridiron’s first online journalist’s debut event- Slate’s John Dickerson was welcomed to the club earlier this month.”

I think Dickerson is one of the deranged Palin smearers.

They can say whatever they wish. I do not think that we are privileged enough to see the dinner. (CSPAN ?)

Sarah should tell Barney’s Frank “Stay away from Todd, he’s mine”
Sarah in a room with a bunch of flaming liberals, should she bring her bullet proof vest

Remember that one of Sarah’s degrees is in journalism. Over the last 20 years (Re:”Going Rogue”), she has written for Wall Street Journal and sports magazines. This is her area - don’t worry.

strange enough, this big media event is closed to reporters, and will not be taped, recorded or broadcast. But, hasn’t the media been complaining that Palin’s book tour is pretty much closed to the media, sort of ironic.

When only one in five Americans identifies him or herself as a Republican, then why bother with having a speaker who represents them? Hasn’t another party (beside Independant, which is not a party) gotten more support by now with all the Republican party defections?
