come 2010, we will elect enough Republicans to passify the people, but not change any of this crap.

Enough Repubs to “almost” regain the majority in HOR or Senate?

You may be right, if IF, the new Repubs act like the old ones.

I remain optimistic enough to beleive common sense will regain control, that ossamma obama will be an isolated POTUS without the ability to complete any of the terrible lib/socialist plans. It would be the real cats meow if we got a big enough majority in 2010 to force investigations into Fannie Mae, ACORN, etc. and ultimately impeachment and removal. If that causes a black revolt, so be it, at their own peril.

Mary Ann Glendon is a law professor at Harvard:

There are other conservatives there, but they are a heterodox minority.

How much worse could it get?

When I was young, my mother told me "Cheer up, things can be worse."

So I cheered up, and sure enough things got worseds.

The most ethically challenged administration in... well...

Let's leave ethics out of it. Liberal fascists are in it to win it. I'm certain that Republicans are not, but there is a chance that conservatives and libertarians will wake up and understand that survival will require us to abandon the delusions and get down and dirty. Liberal fascists have shown over and over that they will do anything to win. I don't think politics is the answer. This is guerrilla warfare. The only politicians I have any stomach for are heroes like Tom Delay - willing to take it to the enemy hammer and tongs.

“These people make me WISH the Clintons were still in power.”

They look pretty centrist in hindsight, don’t they?

It’s hard to say if Hillary is being sent to the bowels of the Earth by Obama to keep her out of sight, or if she is doing it on her own...so that she keep out of the crater this administration is going to leave.

West is not considered a serious professor at Princeton, according to people who are studying there. He’s more of a token, a campus celebrity figure, hired in order to attact applicants.

"Our Annual Predictions For 2010. Good News And Bad News (Kitco)"

Thanks, blam. That was a good and interesting post. Most of it agrees with what I've found in study on the matter. The part about China might be a little off the mark, though. I think she might be a little more prepared than most of us know, if labor keeps its cool enough there. We'll see.
