Just How Brilliant Is Barack Obama?
CFP ^ | December 7, 2009 | John Lillpop

Posted on 12/07/2009 12:04:53 AM PST by bogusname

For nearly two full years now, the American people have been force-fed a steady diet of propaganda as to the formidable genius and superior intellect of one Barack Hussein Obama.

According to the mainstream media and other liberal sources, Obama’s superior intelligence was more important than the fact that, at age 46, this savant from Chicago had no practical problem solving experience and no accomplishments to his credit when he decided to seek the presidency.

His IQ is so extraordinary, they said, that he was entitled to step into the most powerful position in the world with only the Audacity of Hope on his resume, and the word CHANGE on his lips and loaded into his teleprompter.

Barack Obama was the messiah, the One, the Healer, all things good and glorious rolled into one clean and articulate ball of genius that would save the world, America, and all of mankind from eight years of W. and the Republicans.

Unfortunately, the American people bought into this bull excrement and elected an enthusiastic agent of CHANGE who was, and is, exactly clueless about the real world...

This worked out about as well as electing a man with far more movie-star than political experience to the governorship of California.

It worked out pretty well the first time California did it. The second time did not turn out so well.

“his SAT scores would be interesting, as these are highly IQ-correlated. Do we have those?”

No.

There are no SAT scores for ANY major politician that I know of, or could find.

Why?

Gee, I don’t know.

Do you think it could be cuz they are all SO LOW ???

No SAT scores have ever been published for Clinton, Clinton, Obama, Kerry, and many many others.

And I will also bet good money that Michelle’s and Barry’s are very average indeed...

Intertrade anyone?

And by the way, he’s a Marxist, and all Marxists are morons ...

including the first one Karl Marx.

I wonder if his SAT score includes bonus points since he is a minority. That might account for at least 20 points. ;0)

The most flattering thing one can really say about Zero is that he is a con artist. It goes south from there.

I am impressed with this analysis of the 35 year Boom/Bust cycles with the underlying political history, ‘You Are Here’, by Dagny D’Anconia. Excerpt:
The Dow (DJIA) to Gold (Au) ratio: You can think of the ratio as the balance between enthusiasm and fear. When we are enthusiastic for our financial prospects, the Dow is higher. When we have financial fear of losing our assets, we value gold more. While gold is not a productive asset, it is a relatively safe one. In contrast, investing in business and the Dow is a productive asset, but a relatively unsafe one. You can also consider the ratio to be the changes in the Dow corrected for inflation by basing it on gold or Dow per unit of gold.

The Great Depression, the Carter Stagflation, and the Bush-Obama Downturn all follow a pattern that is striking: The economic peaks are separated by almost exactly 35 years. There are also suggestive patterns in politics, military affairs, and technology, all of which are tied into the repeating pattern. Perhaps we can use this to see where we are and where we will go financially, politically, and technologically. This economic downturn has us all wondering when it will end, how bad will it get, and what will it do to our personal wealth. http://dagnyd.net/YouAreHere.htm

YOUR QUESTION #1:
"What man blessed with superior intelligence would deliberately move the trials of murdering Islamofascists to New York City in order to impress the Muslim world with the fairness of America’s judicial system,..."

ANSWER: A muslim and/or a muslim sympathizer (G-d D@mn, America).

YOUR QUESTION #2:

[What sort of man would...] then declare that the accused were guilty, would be found so by the jury, and punished?

ANSWER: A scared sh!tless muslim/muslim sympathizer who suddenly became aware that moving the trials to NYC might expose his real motives (i.e. supporting jihad against America).

ADDITIONAL NOTE:

American muslims, Black muslims, Louis Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright, adherents of Black Liberation Theology, Eric Holder, Al Queda, The Taliban, Communists, the Iranian mullahs, and muslims around the world all have the same attitude toward America.

To them America is the Great Satan!

The left are aptly named. Most of the left come from the left side of the Bell Curve. O’s IQ appears to be <100.

Obama is killing America by his "internal stimulation" as you call it which is nothing more than indiscriminate spending on pork barrel projects and wealth/capital transfers from those parts of the economy that produce it and invest it productively TO those parts that are idle and have no understanding of how capital is produced or invested.

Furthermore, his "internal stimulation" as you call it has been spent and while it had no noticeable effect re: stimulation, it has increased the national debt and deficit...which has a depressionary effect on the economy just as greater debt, etc. has on a family budget.

Next, his stimulus must now be paid for and that means sucking more capital out of the productive parts of the economy and that means uncertainty in the business community and that leads to NO NEW HIRING.

Furthermore, in the areas in which America has great and easily accessed resources (Oil and Gas), Obama has decided to continue his ban on their development (i.e. the Oil and Gas Industry were not invited to the Jobs Summit last week though they could be at the vanguard of a recovery).

BTW, if America were freed to develop its Oil and Gas, the country wouldn't need to wait until oil and gas were found and delivered to market. There would be an immediate boost to the economy just by the economic activity represented by the initial efforts to build drilling platforms and other infrastructure needed.

BOTTOM LINE:

You speak in the same specious terms that Obama uses...but it still doesn't make sense.

China is our country's biggest lender. If we cut off or substantially reduced trade with China, they would dump our Treasury securities and make it impossible for us to fund our deficit spending (that spending which Obama has so kindly expanded with wild abandon).

Furthermore, Obama's health care plan doesn't address the problem of rapidly increasing heathcare costs at all. He only wants to control the healthcare industry in hopes he can force doctors to hold down their fees.

The problem with healthcare costs is in fact the use of insurance by unions and corporations which offer little or no deductable (and this encourages the insured to run to the doctor for each and every little problem). This creates pressure on the demand part of the demand/supply curve without increasing supply and this means higher prices.

Obama's idea of adding 30 million new insured to the roles does the same d@mn thing in a way. It increases demand such that doctors cannot handle it and ergo prices will rise.

Lastly, you are uttering the Obama party line without any understanding of economics. You may not be the disease itself, but you are certainly a carrier of it.

Why do we have to have a trial? They had already pleaded guilty at the military tribunal.

I think George W. Bush’s SAT scores were widely known. Not sure if they were leaked or if he released them himself. They showed that his IQ wasn’t stellar, but not bad, either, to the great surprise of liberals around the world who thought he must be an idiot because he wasn’t a liberal, like themselves. I suspect that, in the same way, the only reason everybody thinks Obama must be super-intelligent is that he is super-liberal, not because anybody ever saw any evidence.

You said:
One of his pet projects is to connect the whole US with magnetic trains — trains that have speed of 400 or more kilometers per hour. The US is lagging behind other leading nations in Europe when it comes to magnetic trains and Obama promised to do something about it.
Response: What if America, covering a much greater land mass and having much less dense population than tiny little Europe isn't ripe for a system of Mag Lev trains. What if this is a waster of money. It makes more sense for Obama to be encouraging telecommuting which requires little money spent by Obama. But alas, no...Obama is not an advanced thinker, he is only a copier of European ideas.

You said:

Then there is wind energy. Obama promised to spend more money for wind energy projects.
Response: If wind energy were already viable, the private sector would be stepping all over itself to invest in it. The problem is not that more money is needed for wind projects. The problem is that PRIVATE INDUSTRY needs to continue their work in developing new sources of energy that pay for themselves. But wait, what about nuclear energy...where is Obama on that?

BTW, speaking of energy, who are Obama's advisors on energy? Maybe some of his Harvard professors, maybe someone from the English Department with a dissertation on that Man from La Mancha!
