“The vast majority of those here on FR believe that “God created through evolution”...”

*************************************************************

That’s really pretty questionable since FR is more conservative than mainstream America and even there you don’t find the *vast majority* of people who believe that God created through evolution.

However, if you really want to debate that issue, set up your own FR poll and see what the results are.

"PS Did you notice the “a mod who shall remain nameless” invited xcamel over to Darwin Central? Explains a lot, don’t you think???"

For what it's worth, I invited xcamel to join the conversation, conviviality, and comradeship at Darwin Central. Most likely, I was not the only one to do so, but I did invite him. (And as far as I know, I am not a mod.)

I would also like to extend that invitation to anyone else who wants to get his "hay" about what is said there firsthand, and not after it has already gone through the horse, to join up and enjoy the conversation.

No sign-up fee or monthly dues are required. You don't even have to pass an intelligence test, although it would probably help.

Conservatives, even very religious conservatives, should have no reluctance to engage in spirited discussions anywhere.

Nor should anyone feel that it is inappropriate to look for information, conversation, or even conflict elsewhere on the Internet. Thoughtful people, even the impassioned, should be welcome to seek, and to speak, wherever they will.

When you find one that has the name “Rassmussen” or “Gallup”, instead of links that loop back to themselves... Get back to us, OK?

GGG provides a good foil against which one can continue to sharpen one’s wit and reaffirm one’s faith in God. In that regard GGG performs a useful purpose.

Reference post 146, sorry about the “him”.

From my perspective, unless somewhat obvious by the chosen screen name, all internet posters are considered default male, until I have conducted a personal interview ... or something like that ...

http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2007-06-07-evolution-debate_N.htm

WASHINGTON — Majorities of Americans in a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll say evolution and creationism are both likely explanations for life on Earth — underscoring the complexities of an issue that has put Republican presidential candidates on the spot in recent weeks.

Two-thirds in the poll said creationism, the idea that God created humans in their present form within the past 10,000 years, is definitely or probably true. More than half, 53%, said evolution, the idea that humans evolved from less advanced life forms over millions of years, is definitely or probably true. All told, 25% say that both creationism and evolution are definitely or probably true.

**********************************************************

Still can’t prove that the *vast majority* of those here on FR believe that “God created through evolution”...

Try again. You’re the one who claimed it.

Pony up on the stats.

You still haven’t proved your contention that the *vast majority* of those here on FR believe that “God created through evolution”....

Funny how the evos always criticize non-evos about not providing links to back themselves up but don’t do it themselves. *Do as I say, not as I do*. Evo’s hypocrisy continues to be staggering.

So, are you the liar or the figurer?

Hey, he's just been taking lessons from the FRevos in tact and decorum.

Besides, getting information out of 99% of the FRevos is like getting water out of a rock.

WOW Ira, you are one angry dude! I wondered why you attacked me out of the blue, so I took about 10 minutes reviewing your previous posts going back to October. Yes I guess I have too much time on my hands, but I discovered you are just down right rude to everybody.

I will pray that God will open up your understanding! Perhaps invite Jesus in to your heart! God Bless you my friend, sorry I said eat my shorts earlier.
