Fitting In at Fox (John Stossel Interview; his show will premier 8PM EST on Fox Business Thursday)

As he debuts his prime-time show on Fox Business Network this week, John Stossel talks about his falling out with ABC, his Gordon Gekko fetish—and why Peter Jennings wouldn’t look at him.

When John Stossel announced in September that he was leaving ABC after 28 years and heading for Fox News, the obvious question was: What took him so long? The youthful-looking 62-year-old Princeton alum—who keeps fit by playing beach volleyball in Central Park with the likes of John McEnroe—had been co-anchoring the magazine show 20/20 with Barbara Walters. But if he was making more, he was enjoying it less. ABC’s press release announcing his departure was unusually candid, noting that the mustachioed Stossel “has engaged and occasionally enraged our audience with thought-provoking questions and analysis.”

If anyone has an Internet live feed to the Fox Business Channel, please let me know. I'd like to Stossel tonight; the article say the premier might be on Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.

His show will be on opposite...O’Reilly? No wonder O’Reilly was unforgivably rude to Stossel’s in the latter’s first appearance on (drops voice an octave) “The Factor”.

Part of the reason I often tune in to “The Factor” is the lack of quality competition in the news/politics area on TV at that hour. Perhaps that’s about to change...!

I assure you that O’Really will not be on my TV if Stossel is on!

I bet Fox will muzzle him on two topics:

1) Obama’s eligibility

2) Homosexual outrage and bullying stories.

( Nope! Not a peep!)

Reading the comments, I realize what a bunch of brain-dead idiots viewers of the MSM are. True products of public education. We are going to have to get the indoctrination out of education. We’ve got a long row to hoe. How can anyone believe the alphabet networks are non-biased? They are really full of hate and venom.

I’m just getting to the interview on the Daily Beast site... did this reporter seriously think that Stossel’s reference to the Congressional bill restraining Hank Reardon’s business was a real bill?

(Well, maybe he had a point, that this Congress actually *would pass this.)

But seriously, he should have known this, at least prepping for an interview with John Stossel.
