If there is a significant correction in 2010, America and the world will breathe huge sigh of relief. But if, in 2010, Obama and the left continue to consolidate power by gaming the system, any further optimism is clearly unwarranted.
In looking for the scripture to reflect my opinion on this matter, I ran across the one below.
I think it sums it up perfectly. We need NOT believe that 2010 elections are going to save us because it has become CLEAR that those with an R after their names are rotten to the core (although not quite as rotten) as the D’s. It is going to take nothing short of a “million-angry-men” (and women) to storm the capitol and drag their arses from the building!
There is a storm brewing!

Put NOT your faith in princes
Politicians have failed America. America’s children will inherit crises of epic proportions. If the United States overcomes the severe financial, environmental, energy, health, housing and other challenges, it will not be because of politicians. It will likely be because ordinary citizens and their communities somehow find ways to address the country’s life-and-death issues.
The arrogance and self-serving ways of some national politicians is breathtaking. Service leadership is beyond them.
The hope for America seems not to rest with most of the country’s leaders, but with people who work with organizations like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Boy Scouts, religious relief and refugee agencies and chambers of commerce.
