Nancy-Ann DeParle, one of President Obama's chief advocates for the health care reform bill wending its way through Congress, earned more than $6.6 million as a paid director for health care firms, some of which were targeted in government investigations or whistleblower lawsuits on suspicions of billing fraud and other legal problems.

B***H, had a friend that had one of these killers in him.
His Doc said it wasn’t working because he caused it to move. A-hole. Oh yes he is DEAD now!

Guidant Defibrillators

On April 5, Boston Scientific/Guidant recalled approximately 73,000 Implantable Cardiac Defibrillators (ICDs) and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Defibrillators (CRT-Ds). A faulty capacitor in these devices may cause the batteries to deplete sooner than expected. Most patients will not be affected by this recall, but patients with one of the recalled devices should contact their physicians about what steps to take next.

Now this failure at management of healthcare via the private sector wants to take a crack at mismanaging it at the gubermint level....you know, where there’s no accountability.

Interestingly, the article doesn’t even talk about another conflict of interest: she’s married to a senior NYT writer.

The NYT editorial page has insistently and persistently championed Obamacare from the get-go. Have its reporters gotten privileged access to WH principals working on health care reform? Last spring Obama sat down with several major industry trade groups and essentially paid them off so they wouldn’t actively oppose his health plan (e.g. the $250 billion “doctor fix”). Did a similar motivation underlie NMDP’s appointment? Inquiring minds want to know.

So far this sounds like guilt by association.

If she isnt personally implicated in the alleged wrongdoing, I dont see why she should be automatically ineligible for a govt job.
