Nah. I quit reading because of the subject matter. I see no sense in the current trend to analyze traditional roles. People make life harder than it needs to be. It makes my eyes cross. And I honestly didn’t find it interesting.

??!? Testosterone is mostly produced in the testicles. In women, most T is produced in the ovaries, although the amount is much less than in men.I believe your right. IMHO, the author is probably confusing the specific hormone receptors, which are needed to complete a negative feedback inhibition loop, with the hormones.

Yes. The hypothalamus signals the pituitary, which then signals the gonads to make sex hormones, which are monitored by the hypothalamus.
