Closed Chrysler dealers to drive Obama eligibility
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | December 08, 2009 | Bob Unruh

Two lawyers have joined forces to assemble a case challenging in U.S. bankruptcy court the federal government's use of Troubled Asset Relief Program funds to bail out Chrysler and in doing so may have created a scenario that finally will bring to a head the issue of Barack Obama's eligibility to be president.

The attorneys are Leo Donofrio, who has launched cases directly challenging Obama's eligibility, and Stephen Pidgeon, who also has worked on the issue.

Their new case questions the authority by which the federal government and administration officials intervened in the auto industry, specifically allocating some $8 billion-plus to Chrysler, which later was forgiven.

Pidgeon told WND the clients in the case are former Chrysler dealers who lost their businesses as part of the "restructuring" of the automobile company. They have been damaged with the loss of their businesses, and the case alleges the Obama administration, through its use of TARP money, influenced Chrysler's outcome.

Donofrio told WND the core issue is the disbursement of TARP funds to the auto maker that were intended to help banks and financial institutions . The previous Treasury secretary had indicated such expenditures were not appropriate, and, in fact, a congressional effort to authorize the expenditures failed, he said.

So, along with a bankruptcy court challenge, a "quo warranto" case is being filed in Washington, D.C., demanding to know by what authority administration officials set up the financial arrangements with Chrysler and handed out taxpayer money.

I owned a dozen Chevys and other GM vehicles in the 60s-70s-80s.
Lately, I've been driving Fords.

had no idea this was that political

Absolutely. Fox News really broke the story to the public when they profiled the loss of Gretchen Carlson's parents GM dealership (the only one for 50 miles) after three generations.

I had a ‘01 corvette convertible as a summer car. I sold it in ‘05. I really wanted a Z06 vette before all of this nationalization crap happened. Now, everything is on hold. I have over $3K in GM bucks towards my next purchase, but that’s not enough to sway me. They need to get the govt out of GM.

My parents who were LOYAL GM buyers for decades, just picked up a Lincoln MKZ yesterday. They’ll never buy a socialist car. I drive a 2010 non-union made Subaru Legacy GT for my daily driver in snow-bound WI. GM as a govt owned brand is doomed.

This “end run” case will at least get a TOE in the door of the biggest fraud ever perpertrated upon earth. This is the ONLY way the truth will overcome thr heard of Zero’s lawyers trying to stifle this conspiracy investigation.

If it is ultimately proven that the Kenyan is not eligible, there will be a host of those who were in the know.

They must be dragged in to court and prosecuted to the full extent. They must be shown no mercy.

Mine too. As a kid I traveled the country in an Olds Vista Cruiser. I learned to drive in a '79 Grand Prix. Then I bought an '84 Camaro as my first new car. After it proved to be a POS, I bought an '86 Fiero. Worse than a POS. GM, never again. A disaster.

Now it's Toyota all the way.

The courts have already spat on our members of the military (Cook, Barnett, Kerchner, etc) who have challenged 0's eligibility.

The auto-dealer plaintiffs should have standing this time. I hope they win back their livelihoods, and, as a byproduct, honor their country by removing the usurper in the White House and the DNC from power.

I said it before and I will say it again. Unless, or until,
the State-run media devotes prime time coverage to the alleged fraud perpetrated on America by Hussein Obama, the prosecution of him and his co-conspirators will go unpunished. The State-run media is in charge; i.e., no in-depth investigation, no charges nor court case.

I was going to buy the new Camaro and I have a life long passion of having a Corvette but I bought a new Yamaha Star 1300 Tourer instead. Maybe after Obama is deported and GM gets its act together will I buy from them again, my 2002 Silverado dually is the best truck I have ever owned and has next to no problems.Normally its every 8 years I buy a new truck, not this time, again I will wait for Obama to make his exit.

I wonder if Gretchen’s family is part of the suit and if she will talk about it on Fox.

My Toyota was built in Georgetown , Kentucky. By Americans. In contrast, half of so-called domestics are built in Mexico. And even if my Toyota came off the boat from Japan, I'd still buy it. I've owned cars for 30 years. Things may have improved somewhat, but IMO Japanese cars are far superior. And built without union labor.

If you want your money going to the UAW, that's your decision.

Are you kidding? Dragged into court? Hell, the DemocRATS will probably give everyone involved a huge, tax-payer funded raise for being so clever in pulling the hoax off.

If it turns out that Zero is inelgible to have even been a candidate, all hell will break out...ie revolution/civil war II.
