Is that a Ruger GP 100? Fine gun. I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson 686+ with a custom trigger job. I can’t describe how much fun it is to shoot. Also bought an Smithie M&P 9c for conceal carry, if I ever decide to do that.

In ambush cases, unless your hand on the weapon and in your pocket, a pistol is not terribly useful.
