This sort of gangster thuggery has plagued the black community for a very long time, and in much greater depth than it has on the rest of the culture. You don't hear about the atrocities that occur in "the hood" too often, but there's a near epidemic of violence occurring there.
No people are innately so self-destructive.
I merely made my own conjecture about the reasons why the above statements are true about black folk not just here but the world over. All races have distinctive inbred traits about them, blacks seem to be excessively prone to being violent. Now I'm being told that's a racist idea. Why? Yes it could be racist and then again it could be the truth. Blacks seem to be more athletic than whites overall, is that racist too?
So you don’t think it’s possible, even likely, that the “epidemic of violence” that Windflier was talking about could possibly be environmentally driven? Or are all blacks just genetically programmed to be uncouth savages?
The fact is we all have the genetic programming to be monsters; unfortunately it’s encouraged behavior in “da hood.” It’s glamorized and mimicked by new generation after new generation.
The sad fact is, the current generation (and probably the next generation) of blacks are mostly lost to the “thug” mentality perpetrated by their own popular entertainers and sports stars (role models for “thug life”, all). Blacks in general won’t listen to whites in general, especially for advice about how to clean up their house. That means they’ll have to police their own. Bill Cosby tried it and made a noble effort, but it’s going to take a lot more than that. I don’t see it happening anytime soon, unfortunately.
Your conjecture is merely a blanket, idiotic statement. We can all be awful people to some degree or another, it doesn’t matter where our ancestors come from. That’s why I’m not running around like a Scottish Highlander, that’s why I was never blown up on a patrol by an Arab Christian.
I’m personally very cynical about the so-called “black community,” too, but your statement was illogical, insulting, and inappropriate.
In Europe, the socialist aspects to the Welfare state and unfettered and unassimilable masses of Arab immigrants (and African) act in much the same way. In England, there is a distinctly white (though also other ethnicities) native culture of violence and sociopathy—why? due to the intrusion of the Welfare State, the superfluity of the male role and father in the family, the infantilization of the people by an ever-enlarged State. There is a high level of violence even amongst many whites in England.
Juvenile crime shoots up when you remove fathers from the equation and even softer forms of socialism (perhaps moreso because it’s ‘soft’) tends to breed shiftless and directionless classes of males who engage in violence, indiscriminate paternity and antisocial behavior.
Theodore Dalrymple wrote a book on his experiences and that was mainly with the white underclass in the UK.
