Bruce Springsteen posted a statement on his Web site urging support of the gay marriage bill that's up for a vote in New Jersey's Senate on Thursday.
Springsteen wrote that he's long believed in and has "always spoken out for the rights of same-sex couples."
A state Senate committee approved the bill by one vote on Monday.
Democrats concede the measure may fall short of the 21 votes needed to pass the Senate.

They should be glad he does. No real American should like or listen to that song. The refrain is sarcasm, not praise.
Dole and others are dolts for not knowing the lyrics.

Just a reminder. Lets not forget that Superbowl Halftime show he was in last February. Where he did that knee slide into a camera, which hit his crotch. There is plenty of youtube footage of this. I think that really sums his career up.

Did President Obama play “Born in the USA” at any of his rallies?

Then we have Clarence (I beat my wife and smoke crack) Clemmons as a great role model as well. I enjoy some of Springsteen’s music..I just try to imagine someone else performing it when I listen to it.
Have loved his version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town since I was a little kid.
