Long ago, as a senior in high school, I had the opportunity to take a personal guided tour of a minute-man silo and command capsule. This tour was conducted by none other than the 93RD Missile Wing Commander. Very cool for 1972 and the height of the cold war. Especially the 2 guys with the keys.
