Pressure the Pentagon to dismiss charges against three Navy SEALS
Rep. Dan Burton: Save the SEALS Petition
Representative Dan Burton (R-IN) is leading the Save the SEALs mission to pressure the Pentagon to dismiss charges against three of our magnificent Navy SEALS who are accused by savage barbarian Ahmed Hashim Abed of punching him in the mouth; or the stomach, or something.

The SEALs are an elite force, not prone to impulsive behavior. In fact, a superhuman self discipline is a job requirement.
Terrorists, on the other hand, are instructed by HQ to cry abuse when taken into custody by US forces:
WASHINGTON, June 29, 2005 If youre a Muslim extremist captured while fighting your holy war against infidels, avoid revealing information at all costs, dont give your real name and claim that you were mistreated or tortured during your detention.
This instruction comes straight from the pages of an official al Qaeda training manual, and officials at the detention facility at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, say they see clear evidence that detainees are well-versed in its contents.

Unfortunately they are getting to used to phone calls also and just seem to blow off what their constituents think.
“Anyone else see this? (No posts allowed to FR from Wired) http://wired.com/dangerroom/2009/12/how-a-blog-brought-down-master-sergeant-grisham/"
It depends on how Grisham IDs himself in his blogs. If you represent yourself as a member of the military, you refrain from open criticism of the commander-in-chief, regardless of who he is. If Grisham were doing this strictly as a “John Q. Citizen,” with no reference to ties to the military, then it’s not a problem, but that blog on Wired.com doesn’t make it clear.
It's not the country we grew up in - it's not the country we loved.
The leadership of the GOP better find their gonads like yesterday.
Also makes me livid. Unless we can put the fear of God, er, rather the fear of their constituents back into them we'll get nowhere. As long as they fear the cash cow more than they fear us I fear our liberty is gone.
I'm not an advocater of violence, but honestly, I see no solution but to drag these congress critters into the streets, publicly humiliate them, and put them into stockades like days of old. A real pot of tar and some real feathers liberally applied, instead of just talking about doing it, might work some too.
I know that previous paragraph is probably going to get this post deleted, and some Secret Service detail knocking at my door - but I'm at my wits end! Our liberty is dying!!
I chuckle when I listen to our “elected royals” talk about their love of country. One of our senators wrote back and told me that he was very proud of his father’s 30 some years in the USAF, one of our congressmen told me, personally, he’d always wanted to serve our country. One, the senator was old enough during the Vietnam war to at least enlist, but went on to become a lawyer, instead. The congressman wants to serve his country, but at the top. So much for what these elected royals say and do.
Teams of private investigators that are willing to donate time to save their country are needed. Ex-CIA, Ex-FBI, Ex-Secret Service, military intelligence, or just private American citizens are needed. The current members of Congress and politicians at every level of government in every state are so arrogant and in-your-face that they don’t even attempt to hide their corruption. Investigators documenting their corruption, exposing it to the American people, prosecution, and prison time would do a lot to clean up the cesspool that is today’s government.
Even the pencil pushers getting paid by the American taxpayers are suspect.

My comments to Barton:
I am infuriated that I have to sign this petition in the first place. These SEALS should have received medals for catching this animal.
The terrorists know how to play the game. They know that by smacking themselves in the face they can blame our troops, get an investigation and our troops will be reprimanded because their chain of command and our politicians - Republicans included- stand by this politically correct policy of restricting deadly force. By doing this you are tying their hands when it comes to fighting this war.
You, Mr Burton, are not innocent since it was in effect while President Bush and the Republicans were in control to change it, and typically, Republicans sat back and did nothing to allow the military win.
You are all so useless.
Bump!
Political correctness and the house, senate and entire government are worthless.
I have to agree - our leadership does need to find some gonads and our liberty IS dying!
As an example of what phone calls accomplish, I called NM’s Jeff Bingaman’s office and was told:
“I realize you feel that the health care bill isn’t the solution for the country or NM voters, but Sen. Bingaman knows what’s right for his constituents and will vote according.”
I said NO he does NOT know what is right for his constituents, he needs to listen to what they WANT and what they feel is right! And of course he didn’t.
I wonder if the troops in the field are getting all the news
or are they blocking what gets out to the troops , and if the troops know whats really going on back home
My response is to tell this POS that you will organize and go door to door to ensure that the POS is thrown out in disgrace come his or her re-election. Add that this country doesn’t tolerate traitors and that they are thrown out at the ballot box along with exposing their treason to the nation. May their family name go down in infamy.
