I think it’s an old poll but it’s still worth it.

Our Creator gives us that right.

The 2nd Ammendment is to prevent the government from infringing upon that right.

No!

It prohibits the government from restricting that right.

It’s allowing me to vote over and over. The numbers are going up about ten votes between my votes. I think I’ll spend some time over there...

The CORRECT answer is No, the Second Amendment does not GIVE the right to keep and bear arms. It protects a God given right.

However, for the purposes of this lame poll, the answer is Yes.

The Second Amendment codifies in our Constitution a right to possess and to use firearms in furtherance of our inherent right of self defense. No rights are “granted” by words written on paper. Fundamental rights are inherent to our humanity.
Nevertheless, it serves a worthwhile purpose to vote in this poll.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

The right of the PEOPLE, not the militia, to bear arms.

Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?

No, but it does affirm my God given right to self defense.

(Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms?)

No.

It RECOGNIZES the natural right of individuals to bear arms, and prohibits the government from infringing on that right.

Only to an illiterate moron can anything resembling “government can control what arms an individual may own” be derived from the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution.

Yes, it just shows that the jerks at USA Today don’t have a clue about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
