Soros: Will No One Rid Me Of This Troublesome Congress?
Investors Bus. Daily ^ | 12/11/09 | Sean Higgins

George Soros, the billionaire left-wing philanthropist and convicted inside trader, joined the caravan of elites at the international climate summit in Copenhagen this week. He used the opportunity to explain that he had a solution to financing the fight against global warming. It would require about $100 billion to pay for projects in the developing world. There was just one barrier: The U.S. Congress.

"It is possible to substantially increase the amount available to fight global warming in the developing world,” he said. “All that is lacking is the political will. Unfortunately the political will will be difficult to gather because of the mere fact that it requires congressional approval in the United States."

I would prefer he had his LAST stroke, and soon!

Unfortunately, he spawned offspring which are ideological splitting images of him.

Whether you are pro or con on the climate debate, if you believe that this $100 billion would ever be used for "green" projects in the developing world, I got a bridge in NYC to sell you.

Once the bureaucrats in the UN skim off their 80% or so in "administrative fees" the remaining 20 billion will be given to the various strongmen in the developing world who will gladly spend in on wine, women, and weapons. The only thing that will be getting greener are the bank accounts of bureaucrats and despots.

Soros should be arrested and brought to Israel to face charges for cooperating with the Nazis against his fellow Jews during the Holocaust.

Soros Helped The Nazis During Holocaust

Barring that, George seems to have a reservation in eternal Hell.

From Michelle Malkin

In March, I remind you, Soros was slapped with a record fine in Hungary for illegal market manipulation.

In May, I remind you, Soros was fined by the state of California for failing to disclose a $350,000 campaign contribution funneled through one of his drug policy non-profits to an initiative intended to undermine the state’s 3 Strikes law.

There’s the Petrobras shadiness. And his boast of “having a very good crisis” this year after breaking the bank of England a decade ago.

We know Soros has the ear of the White House. But who in Washington has their eyes on Soros and his scheming eco-redistributionists? Anyone? Soros scheming at Copenhagen: Eco-redistribution of wealth

FYI

Who is this shadowy, controversial man George Soros? Born in 1930 in Hungary, he watched Nazis march into his nation and kill relatives in a 1944 extermination of 440,000 Hungarian Jews. He survived by pretending to be Ayran, and then witnessed Soviet Marxists replace the Nazis. “My experiences under Nazi and Soviet rule,” he says, “have sensitized me.”

Soros’ father Tivador, a lawyer/publisher/writer, changed the family’s real last name, Schwartz, to Soros in 1936. “Soros grew up in a family that was so detached from its Jewish roots,” summarized a Business Week reviewer of his biography, “that they even vacationed in Nazi Germany, with Tivador shrugging off ‘No Jews Allowed’ signs by telling his wife, ‘You are a foreigner, it’s not for you.’”

After World War II, Soros fled alone as a poor 17-year-old immigrant to London, where he worked at a variety of small jobs. “I broke my leg and was taken care of, free of charge, by the National Health Service,” recalled Soros with gratitude. “I depended on government assistance.” He also, with resentment, remembers from these years how little assistance various Jewish social welfare agencies he approached were willing to give him.

Although he would later become a naturalized American citizen, Soros remains in social outlook very much a European and believer in the paternalistic neo-feudalism euphemistically called “democratic socialism” or “social democracy.”

Soros “was involved in the Mexican bailout with their President Ernesto Zedillo,” reported the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review last July, adding, “Most recently, Soros worked on the Euro, pushing the U.S. dollar down to a near all-time low.” Soros has, in other words, caused you to pay more for every imported product you buy.

Soros’ 1998 book The Crisis of Global Capitalism: Open Society Endangered called for more government controls to prevent abuses and shortsightedness by “amoral” multinational capitalists. In effect, Soros’ message was, “Stop me before I kill again!”[snips]

In brighter news ... if Soros can’t get the money from THIS congress, he can’t it from ANY congress. So, we’re home free on that one. Its a nonstarter.

Isn’t he wanted in France?

If a plane he is on is diverted to France, (I know he probably flies in a private jet, but we could hope that weather might divert him?) can he be arrested, or does he need to actually officially "enter" the country to be subject to arrest?

He’s so arrogant and narcissistic that he must feel he wants credit for the collapse that is coming and he is so very proud to take the U.S. down. To him, it’s a “good” thing. He is evil incarnate. He is Lucifer.

Well I did some research since I posted that. He was convicted in France of insider trading but there was nothing in the article that said he was wanted. I thought I read that years ago.p> That being said, if he is on a plane that lands in France, he has entered the country. A plane is not sovereign territory.

What I was actually thinking is, that if he is wanted why can't Interpols bag him, or, if the Czech Republic is part of the EU (still have to look at that), why can't they arrest him?

Internatianl law is not my thing. All I know is this guy is evil.

I believe that was George himself, not his father. He worked with the Nazis to help them steal from his own people.

I don’t know, but I’m certain he isn’t wanted here.

How do you say "Citizen's arrest! Citizen's arrest!" in Danish?
