"Keep it civil. If you evidence to present do that. However saying we are fringe (negative connotation), unable to reconcile faith and science, anti science, etc etc, that is a personal attack."

Read the original article we are discussing. Calling me a 'Darwinist' (why not an 'Einsteinist', 'Copernicanist') and denying the right to be defined as Christian also constitutes a personal attack. With one thing I can thus definitely agree: let us keep it civil.

As for "That is your opinion." - well, you have a problem. Science is not just a set of isolated findings. Findings from many different areas of science are interconnected and consistent with each other, and the theory of evolution comes as part of the whole package. Moreover, on the basis of this package we developed technology, and we can see that it works. This supports MY opinion.

Too bad that that same technology brought us DNA identification, which punched holes in Darwins theories that have yet to be filled.

Who denied you the right to call yourself anything? I mean, if Tiger Woods can call himself a Blasian, why can't you call yourself a Christian?

I did not call you a Darwinist, I called you an evolutionist. I also said implicitly that believing in evolution does not mean that you can not be a Christian or a conservative. No one else said that either.

Fields of science do work together agreed. However, it isn’t evidence from these fields that supports evolution; it is the interpretation of the evidence that is interpreted in a specific way to support evolution. Creationists do this as well. Every person’s worldview will color the evidence they see.

LOL! Sounds like another 'climate gate' scandal. Scientist and their 'proof'.
