A good question for today would be whether a fraud on the scale of the one being consummated at the Copenhagen “earth summit” has even been attempted before in human history.
I’ve been trying to think of examples. Things like the fake Protocols of the Elders of Zion come to mind — a hoax out of Russia around the turn of the last century. It has been very consequential in the lives of Jews, and remains an issue in most Middle Eastern countries today, where state media continue to present this most vicious of all anti-Semitic slurs as historical fact.

Fraudenhagen. Even P.T. Barnum must be surprised at the success of this fraud.
The comparison is very apt because both hoaxes played on the prejudices of the people who believed them and were profitable for the people who promoted them.
And both will exist for a long time.
Nothing about any controversy over the "science". What has happened to our watchdog media? How in the tank are these people? Are they getting paid off?
Answers: They turned into Pravda. Completely. You betcha!

A few days I read something about how North Korea’s dire poverty is a blessing for many. Like, amorous teens. You know the ones who are skin and bones and have no energy due to starvation.
General Electric (parent company...now at 49% stock after Comcast deal) ordered NBC News to have at least one story favorable to global warming in every single newscast.
They did it all this week...it may extend through the end of the Copenhagen Fraud-Fest, I didn't get that many details.
I have friends still working for them, so I got the information "leaked" to me, and it turned out to be dead on.
I don’t doubt it...General Electric is, I understand, in a position to make a billion dollars if this monstrosity passes.
NBC is part of the Obama never ending campaign. ABC is too...with George Stepawhathisface, from the Clinton White House constantly spinning for the messiah. CBS, is well...CBS. Dan Rather may be gone, but his take on the “news” is not forgotten. Wow...how they all hate Palin!
CNN is irrelevant, I don’t know anybody that ever watches them. Fox, of course is Satan to the Obama crowd. But for Fox and Talk Radio we’d know nothing about Climategate or Obama’s incipient Marxism.
We are going to have to fight these people next fall. The November election will be perhaps, the most important in our history.
They are now the “lapdog media” have been for quite a while, only now we know who’s lap they are sitting on.
