What I don’t get is, why these guys do this in the first place—they rarely get away with it. At some point, wouldn’t it make more sense to get the divorce or to NOT be involved in the murder personally, at least?

I have some advice for all men who are married. You will be judged guilty if anything ever happens to your wife.

The spouse should be considered a suspect until he or she can be eliminated. It would be poor detective work to do otherwise. And if the spouse lawyers up and refuses to cooperate, you can probably eliminate other suspects from consideration.

There is nothing like “Guilty until proven innocent” is it. I would still be in prison if one of my ex- wives boyfriends had killed her.

As far as lawyering up, any man who talks to the cops without a lawyer present is a fool.

Probably not. Could have buried her body in snow or under plant material....lots of ways he could hide her body.
