Bingo. A friend of mine lives right outside of Houston, she says when the Katrina migration happened Houston immediately went way downhill.

I always thought Houston was pretty far down the hill anyway.

True, true, true. Last year, we moved out of Houston, after 20+ years.

Repeated democrat mayors, sanctuary city status for illegals, Katrina evacuees, high crime, etc.

Life is much better where we now live. When we go into Houston, there is always a higher alert condition. We go from yellow to RED.

Houston went to see along time ago. They elected Lee “Out of Town” Brown in the 1990s, after he was almost lynched here in NYC for his incompetence as police chief.
