The IRA are cowards. They always hit soft targets with the occasional exception of RUC facilities and individual British troops. Scum, scum and scum. That about sums up the (Libyan trained) IRA.

While I was over there the news mentioned how they bombed a gas station and killed the owner because he gave some candy to some soldiers.

I was not speaking specifically about the IRA (I know very little about them specifically). I was just saying that I can understand that sometimes the use of violence is a valid tactic - just not violence perpetrated against the innocent.
