Cantor is a wuss... much like the majority of the RINO’s and GOP gang in DC——save for a select few!

Cantor appears to be able to adapt to changing conditions. Earlier I thought he was politically tone deaf ~ a bad trait in a professional politician.

We'll see how well he can do over the next few months, but he's still on my short list of politicians to tune out.

He’s doing the equivalent of wet finger in the air. He’s just waiting to see whether Sarah is going to fly or fall.

Wrong tactic, I’m sure.

Anyone who’s seen Obama in action should not concern themselves too much with Palin or practically any other potential candidate’s qualifications. What everyone needs to pay attention to is the candidate’s positions and whether they have any to begin with. It’s reasonable to be suspicious of someone who comes off as a rich elitist Yaley, a Christianity-averse snot with a past history of radical leftism, but don’t be too quick to put a crown on the next person who claims to be a conservative and just seems just like you. Politicians shouldn’t be awarded power simply because of their perceived good character. No one can get on in life simply by being a good judge of character. That’s a good strategy for getting screwed repeatedly.

Look at the video again. It appears that Cantor thought he was being asked a question about Haley Barbour being quealified to be president.

Question: The Haley Barbour question, is she qualified to be president, yes or no?

Cantor’s answer: Haley Barbour is um, he, he is an expert, that guy is one of the smartest people that I know, and he is a real leader.

Questioner: And he didn’t answer the question (laughing).

Cantor’s answer: Smiling (in affirmative) silence.

Nooooooo, Free Reign. Eric was not referring to Haley Barbour, he was AGREEING with Haley Barbour's suggestion that Palin isn't qualified! He was dodging Geraldo's questions about Palin from the beginning by beating aroundt he bush and saying things like "what makes Palin great is that she can have everything and do everything." He didn't have the nerve or class to admit that she is a substantive and formidable politician on the merits of her experience, leadership, and views. I hope Palin is paying attention to her non-supporters like Cantor. He won't be getting my vote for anything in the future!

What does Haley Barbour have to do with it? Confusing question, if you ask me.

Eric Cantor just failed the test, and he probably doesn’t know it yet.

Just a word to the wise. If you are more afraid of Palin than you are Obama, then you aren’t going to be the one leading the charge against the Obamists. You aren’t cut out for the job. Take some time and work on your real estate license or something; you need to find a new line of work.

The right answer to the question, “is she the one to beat in the Republican Party” is “no. Obama is the one to beat if you’re a citizen with a shred of patriotism.”

The right answer to “is she qualified to be president” is “you need to ask a much more serious question: how did a cipher with no past, no accomplishments, no resume, no paper trail, and no history manage to get himself elected to the White House; and how much more damage is he going to do before we find a way to stop him.”

Or, how about this: “Palin has shown what she’s made of in Alaska, and President Obama is in the process of destroying everything he touches. His qualifications should be the ones that absolutely frighten you to the point of decisive action to save whats left of the republic.”

You don’t become a leader by applying for the job. You become a leader by leading. If I were looking for someone to lead a cavalry charge I’d look for the person who is already leading it. I sure wouldn’t give the job to a guy who toadies up to Geraldo, for pete’s sake.

Disgusting...
How hard is it for one of these pathetic cowards to respond, simply: “Certainly, as a former governor, Sarah Palin is more qualified to be president than the current occupant of the White House.”?

Eric Canter is a schmuck. You can just tell when you look at this guy that he thinks he is something special. I don’t care if he thinks Sarah Palin is qualified or not, but he doesn’t have to go on national tv and dump on her like that. Obviously these elitist GOP turds have forgotten the rule of not speaking ill of another Republican. What is wrong with the GOP are people who think they are better then everyone else, that people like Sarah Palin who go out there and speak their mind on the issues are somehow “Stupid” and “not qualified” to say what they feel. SCREW U GOP..Sarah has NEVER said one bad word about any member of the GOP, not one..not even McCain who treated her like crap, she has been nothing but loyal to him, yet these “GOP elitists” have the nerve to come on TV and trash her. Its a good thing I don’t give any of my money to the GOP and I won’t be til they get their act together, which probably will be never. Isn’t it ironic, they have no problem trashing Sarah but they refuse to say anything negative about Obama, just goes to show where their priorities are

Here is Eric's Answer:
Haly Barbour is an expert, the guy is one of the smartest people I know, and he's a great leader".
That's because Geraldo said "Haley Barbour question, is she qualified to be President".

So Cantor talked about Haley Barbour.

Geraldo then added his own thoughts, proclaiming that Palin "scared" Barbour and Cantor. But nothing in the interview with Cantor suggested Cantor had anything but respect and admiration for Palin.

Stop trying to stir up trouble. And for God's sake, stop taking talking points from Geraldo.

BTW, I have no real interest in Cantor as President, I just am tired of all the attacks being launched on this site at everybody whose initials aren’t SP.
